Personal data we collect

Capryce collects data from you through direct inputs or connections to your third party accounts. You provide this data directly and we use this to enhance experiences with our platform.

You have choices when it comes to the technology you use and the data you share. When we ask you to provide personal data, you have the option to decline and choose not to connect certain third-party accounts. If you choose not to provide data required by a feature, you will not be able to use that feature. Likewise, when we need to collect personal data by law or carry out a contract with you, you again have the option to not provide the data. However, in this case, we will not be able to enter into a subscription. We will notify you if this is the case at the time.

Where providing the data is optional, and you choose not to share personal data, features like analytics and insights that use such data will not work for you.

Capryce collects data from you through direct inputs or connections to your third-party accounts. You provide this data directly and we use this to enhance experiences with our platform.

We collect all data points from platforms you connect an our model chooses which data points are relevant. For example we collect "steps" from fitness trackers which may be relevant to affecting other aspects of your life but "Distance Walked" may not. Likewise we collect information from Google Calendar like "Number of Meeting Attendees" which may affect your mood but we also collect "Meeting Title" which may have no impact at all. All data for integrations is collected.

How we use personal data

Capryce uses the data we collect to provide you with analytics and insights into your life. Specifically, we use data to:

  • Feed our platform. This includes analysing, securing, troubleshooting and providing support. When required, it also includes sharing data - this is in the instance of when you request a service or a transaction needs to be carried out.
  • Data is shared with our private model running in OpenAI. This is only accessible by Capryce.
  • Improve and develop our products.
  • Personalise our products to generate insights.
  • We also use the data to operate our business. This includes analysing our performance, meeting our legal obligations, developing our workforce and doing research.

Our processing of personal data for these purposes includes both automated and manual (human) methods of processing. Our automated methods are often related to and supported by our manual methods. For example, our automated methods include artificial intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). To build, train, and improve the accuracy of our AI models, we manually review some of the predictions and inferences produced by the automated methods. This is measured against the underlying data from which the predictions and inferences were made.
